What is shockwave?

Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment for musculoskeletal pain using acoustic pulses (pressure waves) that travel through the skin to stimulate tissue repair.

Shockwave treatment can be up to 80% effective in reducing chronic pain and related symptoms Most people experience less pain after just the first treatment with only 3 – 5 treatments required.

What to expect?

A course of shockwave treatment usually consists of weekly treatments for 3-5 weeks.

Chronic conditions are likely to require a longer treatment course. Symptoms usually improve over time, however the healing process continues for up to 3 months following the final treatment.
